Over 80 residents showed up for housing justice last Thursday!

Hello, housing justice activists!

We all made a real splash last Thursday at City Council. Over 80 people showed up, and 40 people shared their concerns about housing in this city. Thank you all for your participation; we will continue to keep up the pressure and demand that the city ensure affordable housing for everyone! Together, we can build our own power to change City development policy and stop gentrification and displacement.

The final recommendations from the Task Force will come out on May 27th, and there will be more opportunities to demand housing justice. Before then, if you have comments you were not able to share at the meeting on Thursday you can send them to the task force co-chairs:
Councilman Daniel Lavelle: daniel.lavelle@pittsburghpa.gov
Planning Director Ray Gastil: ray.gastil@pittsburghpa.gov
